Cannabis plants (a.k.a. hemp a.k.a. marijuana) produce hundreds of different molecules called cannabinoids.
tetrahydrocannabinolic acid (THCA)
What is THCA?
Intoxicating cannabis is usually advertised as about 30% total “THC”, but that number doesn’t always refer to just one molecule. Delta-9 tetrahydrocannabinol (delta-9 THC) is often around 5% and tetrahydrocannabinolic acid (THCA) makes up the other 25%. Different cultivars of cannabis have different concentrations of each of the hundreds of cannabinoid molecules. Some cultivars have little to no delta-9 THC, and have even more THCA.
delta-9 tetrahydrocannabinol (delta-9 THC)
The Federal Farm Bill was signed into law in 2018, and it eased restrictions on cannabis products, allowing for the sale of intoxicating cannabis.
We source flower that is high quality, high in THCA, and tests within the legal limits for delta-9 THC. Read the Federal definition of hemp on Congress.Gov: H.R.5485, Section 2, Subtitle G, Section 297A(1).
Mood and Pain Management
Cannabinol (CBN) and cannabigerol (CBG) have been shown to help with anxiety and depression by promoting the proper absorption of neurotransmitters (e.g., dopamine and serotonin) and hormones (e.g., estrogen). Both cannabinoids help your brain communicate effectively with your immune system’s cells. The immune system controls inflammation and is an important roadblock in the development of malignant cancers.
cannabinol (CBN)
cannabigerol (CBG)
CBN is sleepy, whereas CBG is stimulating like a glass of fresh orange juice. For this reason, it is best to take CBG in the day, and CBN is better taken at night.
For the most improvement in quality of life, it is best to take CBG and CBN daily, at the same time every day, to maintain a constant level of the molecule(s) in your bloodstream.
